dc.description.resumoEsta pesquisa tem como tema a arte afro-brasileira na 35ª Bienal de São Paulo e o ensino das artes visuais, na perspectiva da educação étnico-racial e antirracista, a partir de uma abordagem interdisciplinar entre artes visuais e ciências sociais. A justificativa se dá a partir da necessidade de analisar a arte afro-brasileira e sua interlocução com o ensino das artes visuais. O problema central instiga em analisar e investigar como as obras afro-brasileiras expostas na 35ª Bienal podem se tornar instrumento para práticas de educação étnico-raciais no ensino das artes visuais. Como objetivo, propõe mapear, analisar e discutir obras de arte afro-brasileira que possam compor na construção do ensino das artes. A metodologia segue uma abordagem qualitativa e indutiva, além de incluir a pesquisa bibliográfica e de campo, tendo como base registro fotográfico e catalogação das produções artísticas. A pesquisa dialoga com referenciais teóricos como Roberto Conduru, Grada Kilomba, Emanoel Araújo, Kabengele Munanga e Abdias Nascimento, que contribuem para refletir sobre identidade, racismo e representatividade. Os resultados parciais apresentam que a 35ª Bienal impulsiona para importantes caminhos, de modo que fortalece cultura afro-brasileira no ensino de arte, assim como contribui para a valorização de narrativas negras, e para a ruptura com lógicas eurocêntricas ainda dominantes nos circuitos artísticos e no campo da arte- educação.por
dc.description.abstractThis research focuses on Afro-Brazilian art at the 35th São Paulo Biennial and the teaching of visual arts, from the perspective of ethnic-racial and anti-racist education, through an interdisciplinary approach between visual arts and social sciences. The study is justified by the need to analyze Afro-Brazilian art and its relationship with visual arts education. The central research question seeks to examine and investigate how the Afro-Brazilian artworks exhibited at the 35th Biennial can serve as tools for ethno-racial education practices within the teaching of visual arts. The objective is to map, analyze, and discuss Afro-Brazilian artworks that may contribute to the development of visual arts education. The methodology adopts a qualitative and inductive approach and includes bibliographic and field research, based on photographic documentation and cataloguing of artistic productions. The study engages with theoretical frameworks proposed by Roberto Conduru, Grada Kilomba, Emanoel Araújo, Kabengele Munanga, and Abdias Nascimento, whose contributions are key to reflecting on identity, racism, and representation. Preliminary findings indicate that the 35th Biennial opens important pathways by strengthening Afro-Brazilian culture in art education, contributing to the appreciation of Black narratives, and challenging Eurocentric paradigms that still prevail in the art world and in the field of art education.eng
