| Resumo: | O objetivo do trabalho é analisar representações de aspectos relacionados à violência presentes na página policial do Jornal Pequeno, periódico maranhense de circulação diária. Especificamente, a pesquisa esteve voltada à análise de discursos de agentes sociais responsáveis pela confecção de notícias no periódico, veiculadas entre 1993 e 2003, que narram e interpretam acontecimentos que aqui identifiquei como atos de justiça coletiva, comumente denominados de linchamentos . Os recortes cronológico e espacial foram, respectivamente, o mencionado período de veiculação das notícias e o Município de São Luís do Maranhão, no sentido de que os relatos de justiçamentos coletivos se referem exclusivamente a fatos ocorridos nesta cidade. Além de reportagens, foram também utilizadas como fontes de pesquisa fotografias publicadas no mesmo jornal e entrevistas com repórteres, editores e fotógrafos do periódico. |
| Abstract: | The aim of this work is to analyze representations of aspects related to the violence content in the police page of Jornal Pequeno , newspaper from Maranhão of daily circulation. Specifically, the research was directed to the analyzes of social agents speeches which are responsible for the making of news over the periodical, diffused between 1993 and 2003, which report and interpret occurrences that I have identified here as collective justice acts, usually named lynching . The chronological and spatial pruning were, respectively, the mentioned period of the news broadcast and the municipal district of São Luís Maranhão, toward the sense that the reports of collective justice makings refer exclusively to facts occurred in this city. Besides reports, were also used as research source photographs published in the above mentioned newspaper and interviews with reporters, editors and photographers of the periodical. |
