Adolescências, gênero e o atendimento socioeducativo: um estudo sobre a reprodução das relações sociais de gênero no Centro Socioeducativo Florescer

Abstract

Approach to the reproduction of social gender relations at the Florescer Socioeducational Center in São Luís – MA. It aims to analyze the execution of socioeducational measures of deprivation of liberty based on the production and reproduction of social gender relations. Its specific objectives are: to identify the extent to which gender relations reproduced in society are manifested in institutional practices within the Florescer Socioeducational Center; to characterize the reproduced gender relations, based on the activities developed by the workers; reflect on whether the pedagogical activities developed at the institution contribute to the maintenance of unequal gender relations reproduced in society; to analyze the existing institutional relations, from the perspective of gender, through the eyes of the socioeducated; and to identify the pedagogical activities embodied in the National System of Socioeducational Assistance (Sinase) related to the gender focus, aimed at strengthening female protagonism carried out. As for the methodology, it is a qualitative and exploratory research. Bibliographic, documentary and field research were carried out. And a semi-structured research script was adopted with seven people from the technical team and three adolescents who were undergoing socioeducational measures from October to December 2020. The method of analysis used was historical and dialectical materialism, as it apprehends reality from their multiple determinations. Therefore, reality is concrete precisely for this reason, since it is the synthesis of many determinations. In the Marxian perspective, the subject has an essentially active role in the investigation process, the researcher needs to apprehend not the appearance or the form given to the object, but seek to understand the essence, its structure and dynamics, as a process. Conducting the research was important to understand the reality of adolescents who are in socioeducational measures at the institution. It is concluded that although limitations of the activities carried out in the CSF are perceived, the socioeducational students reported on the knowledge and discoveries when they began to comply with the socioeducational measure of internment. Discussions related to self-care and female protagonism enabled access to a new range of knowledge. This shows the importance of the work developed in this space.
