Deputados-escritores: Política, escrita e economia no parlamento maranhense (1830 – 1930)

Abstract

RESUMÉ On étude les intersections entre la publication de livres et le travail politique exerce par ceux qui occupaient des sièges au parlement maranhense entre 1830 et 1930. On tente considérer comme l‘écriture, c‘est-à-dire les ―belle lettres‖, a contribué à la formation d‘um certain profil legitime pour occuper les instances du pouvoir d‘État. Dans le mêmes sens, on cherche comprendre les formes de lecture du monde, vision du monde, et l‘auto-définition des agents, selon les stratégies et ressources utilisées, et aussi les rélations qui établissent et les espaces sociaux qui occupent. Y compris, c‘est engagé la création d‘une interpretation specifique sur le Maranhão, depuis sa ―décadence‖ et la nécessité de reconstituition de l‘économie et culture considerées pour légitime. Dans ce procès sont étables des critères de distinction sociale, hiérarchization d‘agents, engagement et défenestration, autre les disputes individuelles et collectives du côté de celui qui écrit et est em concurrence à des emplois collectifs. L‘importance de cet approche se situe au fait que presque depuis um siècle les articulations entre la politique et l‘écriture non seulement s‘out accordées comme une configuration du prétérit et également se sout mises à pour et restent à l‘époque actuelle.

ABSTRACT It is studied the intersections between the book printing and the politics work exerced by those who got chairs ate the Maranhense parliament between 1830 and 1930. It is tried to perceive how the ―belles letters‖ contributed to the formation of a determined profile legalized to fullfil the proceeding of state power. In this very way, it is searched to understand the forms of worldview and the self definition of the agents, according to the strategies and means being used, as well as the relations which establish and social space which occupy. Including so the creation of a specific interpretation on Maranhão, from its ―décadence‖ and the need of reconstitution of the economy and culture considered as legitimate ones. In this process criteria of social distinction are firmed, under a hierarchyzation of agents, engagement and defenestration, besides the individual and collective disputes by he who writes and compete to get elective high-ranking. The importance of this approach lives in the fact that, almost a century thereafter, the articulations between politics and ―belle letters‖, i. e., writing, not only conformed with a past configuration and updated themselves according to the present days.
