      <title>Escala de avaliação da comunicação hospitalar: proposta de Instrumento de comunicação entre profissionais de Enfermagem</title>
      <link>https://tedebc.ufma.br/jspui/handle/tede/7007</link>
      <description>Título: Escala de avaliação da comunicação hospitalar: proposta de Instrumento de comunicação entre profissionais de Enfermagem
Autor: SANTOS, Thalyta Monte Batalha dos
Primeiro orientador: RABÊLO, Melissa Silva Moreira
Abstract: Communication failures are one of the main factors contributing to adverse events in &#xD;
healthcare, directly impacting patient safety and quality of care. Studies indicate that &#xD;
half of medical malpractice claims involve communication problems, either among &#xD;
professionals or between professionals and patients. In this context, the present study &#xD;
aimed to develop a hospital communication assessment scale-EACH (In Portuguese) &#xD;
focused on nursing teams, through a qualitative ethnographic approach conducted in &#xD;
a pediatric medical-surgical ward of a public hospital in São Luís, Brazil. Data collection &#xD;
included participant observation and a semi-structured questionnaire, enabling a &#xD;
comprehensive understanding of the communication dynamics, identification of failure &#xD;
factors, and analysis of the effectiveness of communication among nurses. Findings &#xD;
show that communication goes beyond information transmission: it is a relational, &#xD;
symbolic, and cultural process essential to integrality and continuity of care. The &#xD;
proposed scale represents an advance in the development of specific tools for &#xD;
communication assessment, contributing to improved care management, patient &#xD;
safety, and the strengthening of nursing’s role in the hospital environment.

      <description>Título: Comunicação e vínculos sociais: uma proposta de autogestão financeira para o MOQUIBOM (Movimento Quilombola do Maranhão)
Autor: LIMA, Yndara Vasques
Primeiro orientador: MOURA, Flávia de Almeida
Abstract: The main purpose of this research work is to analyze and develop strategies that ensure&#xD;
the financial self-management of the Movement together with the members of&#xD;
MOQUIBOM (the Maranhão Quilombola Movement). The proposal arose from a need&#xD;
identified by the Movement's members: the challenge of continuing actions, products and&#xD;
projects impacted by the lack of financial resources. The chosen methodology was&#xD;
developed by the ETC (Economy, Technology and Communication) research group at&#xD;
UFMA (Federal University of Maranhão) and seeks to present solutions based on the&#xD;
development of the MCC (Map of Contemporary Crises) and the MCIC (Model for&#xD;
Creating Contemporary Initiatives). The main focus is to generate meaning from actions&#xD;
that involve entrepreneurship, collaboration, digital innovations and encouragement of&#xD;
new business models that respect and involve human beings, biodiversity, value economy&#xD;
and technology.

      <description>Título: Complexo de Pedrinhas: histórias de amor e ódio no presídio que chocou o país
Autor: SOUZA, Larissa Silva
Primeiro orientador: SOUSA, Li-Chang Shuen Cristina Silva
Abstract: This work is a applied research whose that developed a reportage book that cover the events&#xD;
that happened during the Pedrinhas Complex continued riot in 2013/2014. The reportage book&#xD;
tell stories of people who lived the rebellion and approach the different aspects of this case. The&#xD;
commotion around the prison generated a media event with the spectacularization and&#xD;
&#xD;
trivialization of barbarism. From bibliographical and documental research, besides semi-&#xD;
structured and individual interviews with persons deprived of liberty, egress from the prisional&#xD;
&#xD;
system, relatives, employers and ex-employers of the penitentiary complex, and other people&#xD;
connected to the event, was developed a reportage book based on discussions about the&#xD;
trivialization of evil (ARENDT, 1999), grotesque communication (MUNIZ, 2002) and the&#xD;
historical belonging of the black people to the prison scenery (FOUCAULT, 2010). This work&#xD;
also analyze the aspects of the investigative and literary journalism. From the research, it was&#xD;
possible to identify that the events of the Complex were not isolated, but are part of the Prison&#xD;
System Crisis on Brasil, driven by overincarceration and scrapping of the investigative police.&#xD;
Then, the barbarism used on Pedrinhas served as a strategy of a mediatic event with the aim of&#xD;
drawing attention to humanity problems that the units were experiencing.

      <title>Infografia no jornalismo on-line: um modelo de arquitetura interativa</title>
      <link>https://tedebc.ufma.br/jspui/handle/tede/6955</link>
      <description>Título: Infografia no jornalismo on-line: um modelo de arquitetura interativa
Autor: NUNES, Aline Alencar
Primeiro orientador: SENA, Patrícia Rakel de Castro
Abstract: This paper proposes the construction of an infographic architecture for newspapers that are&#xD;
produced and distributed in the digital and online environment in Maranhão. The proposal&#xD;
includes architectures that can be produced automatically in order to facilitate the development&#xD;
of an infographic project with what is possible to be done given the technology available in the&#xD;
production routine of local media outlets. Starting from the problem of how these models can&#xD;
help the production routine of journalists in the construction of interactive infographics, the&#xD;
dissertation used theoretical references that address the structure of the text in the online&#xD;
environment, interactive infographics, as well as design and Gestalt theories, and followed two&#xD;
paths: exploratory research verifying and listing which websites and applications are available&#xD;
in which it is possible to create infographics, either from scratch or with existing templates, to&#xD;
outline possible tools and paths for the journalist, and also applied research, developing the&#xD;
architecture models from other models, later taking one of these to a group of journalists in a&#xD;
documented workshop. After the results, it was realized that, although the production of&#xD;
infographics is a valuable tool in online journalism, providing an interactive and informative&#xD;
experience for readers, there is a need for improvement and standardization, especially among&#xD;
national and regional media outlets, to achieve the visualization modes proposed mainly in&#xD;
international newspapers. It was also found that there is no systematized and routine process&#xD;
for inserting infographics in local journalism. Therefore, in addition to infographic construction&#xD;
models, the research also delivered a mind map and concept map script with the elaboration&#xD;
process and a tutorial covering the step-by-step process for journalists, with the hope that&#xD;
professionals will be motivated by this possibility of producing news in a way that is enjoyable&#xD;
for the public, from the point of view of interactivity, and so that the professionals themselves&#xD;
can exercise their creativity, optimizing their time, without compromising the quality and&#xD;
veracity of their material.
